Who we are

Marsha knows these machines inside and out

Savon Appliance has been a family-owned Burbank business since the early 1980s. Emmett Julian founded it after more than 30 years in the used appliance trade, bought the General Appliance Refinishing shop in 2001 so the restoration work would continue, and sold the business to his sister Marsha in 2003.

Marsha runs the shop today, with Emmett advising in his retirement and Luis out on service calls. All day long it is stoves, washers, dryers, and refrigerators: restoring, reconditioning, repairing, and matching each customer to the machine that fits.

What our customers say

Word for word from our testimonials page.

I bought a vintage stove from Savon and had it shipped across the country. Marsha, the owner, was absolutely wonderful to work with. She helped me to find a shipper and also took numerous pictures of the stove before and during the shipping. I highly recommend Savon, Marsha, and customer care team. Thank you for everything, and especially the beautiful stove we are now cooking with.

This a a really great place to get used appliances. They give them a "tune up" and guarantee them as well! I love this place!

I had a problem with lighing a very old stove, and though I was fine with paying for a service call, they talked me through the process over the phone, and it worked! No service call or expense, but great service!
