About us
A small firm on Wilshire since 2003.
I am Christopher S. Park, CPA. I founded Essential LLP in Los Angeles in January 2003 after years as a tax and consulting manager at CBIZ and Arthur Andersen. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Ohio State and a Master’s in Business Taxation from USC, and for over 20 years I have worked on U.S. and international tax for companies and families with complex returns, audits, levies, and liens.
My partner is JaeJin Kim, CPA. He joined us in 2015 after starting in business management in Westwood in 2006 and serving as a tax and financial planning manager for boutique firms in Santa Monica and Encino. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Cal State Northridge and looks after high net-worth clients in film, television, and professional sports.
